Dal fry
This is my dad recipe he always cooked when i was kid now i mein making dal fry and enjoying with my family it's very tasty and yummy
Ingredients

2 tbsp Masoor dal

150 grm turdal

1 tbsp Chana dal
-
1 tbsp yellow Moong dal

2 tbsp Oil
-
1/2 tsp Cumin
-
1 pinch Hing
-
1 Onion large chopped
-
1 Tomato large chopped
-
2-3 Green chilli
-
8-10 Garlic cloves finely chopped

8-10 Curry leaves
-
Salt to taste (as per required)

1/4 tsp Turmeric
-
1/4 tsp Red mirch powder

3 cup Water
-
2 tsp Lemon juice (optional)
-
Freshly coriander leaves for garnish
Cooking Instructions

First we rinse the dal then soaked for 30 minutes before boiling.

After that we take 3-5 ltrs cooker boil the water then add mix dal, salt and turmeric powder for 3 whistle.

Then afterwards the dal get boil and ready for tempering

Then heat the oil in a kadai add cumin seed after crackle of cumin seed we add pinch of hing and chopped garlic fry till light brown then

Add chopped onion and green chillies saute till golden brown

Then afterward we add chopped tomato saute till tomato get soft and pulpy

Then afterwards add pinch of turmeric, red mirch powder saute them

Then pour the boil dal in the kadai and mix all the ingredients then come to 1 boil then add 2 teaspoon of lemon juice then mix and

Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves

Dal fry is ready to serve

Or you can only use turdal dal for dal fry as per your choice
