This is my dad recipe he always cooked when i was kid now i mein making dal fry and enjoying with my family it's very tasty and yummy

Ingredients

4 serving
  1. 3 cup Turdal
  2. 2 tbsp Masoor dal
  3. 1 tbsp Chana dal
  4. 1 tbsp Moong dal
  5. 2 tbsp Oil
  6. 1/2 tsp Cumin
  7. 1 pinch Hing
  8. 1 Onion large chopped
  9. 1 Tomato large chopped
  10. 2-3 Green chilli
  11. 8-10 Garlic cloves finely chopped
  12. 8-10 Curry leaves
  13. Salt to taste (as per required)
  14. 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  15. 1/4 tsp Red mirch powder
  16. 3 cup Water
  17. 2 tsp Lemon juice (optional)
  18. Freshly coriander leaves for garnish

  1. First we rinse the dal then soaked for 30 minutes before boiling.

  2. After that we take 3-5 ltrs cooker boil the water then add mix dal, salt and turmeric powder for 3 whistle.

  3. Then afterwards the dal get boil and ready for tempering

  4. Then heat the oil in a kadai add cumin seed after crackle of cumin seed we add pinch of hing and chopped garlic fry till light brown then

  5. Add chopped onion and green chillies saute till golden brown

  6. Then afterward we add chopped tomato saute till tomato get soft and pulpy

  7. Then afterwards add pinch of turmeric, red mirch powder saute them

  8. Then pour the boil dal in the kadai and mix all the ingredients then come to 1 boil then add 2 teaspoon of lemon juice then mix and

  9. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves
