Aloo masala

I learn this dish from my father. My father's special.

  1. 4 potatoes chopped in four pieces
  2. 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  3. 2 onions paste
  4. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  5. 2 tsp coriander powder
  6. 1 tsp chilli powder
  7. 1 tsp salt
  8. 2 tbsp Oil
  9. Coriander leaves for garnishing
  10. Water 2 cups or as required as per requirements


  1. Add Photo

    Heat the pan and add oil. Now add onions paste and cooked them.

  2. Add Photo

    Now add ginger garlic paste. Cooked them.

  3. Add Photo

    Now add all masalas. Cooked them.

  4. Add Photo

    Now cooked for 10 minutes.

  5. Add Photo

    Now add chopped potatoes. Cooked them for 20 or 25 minutes. After 20 minutes checked them oil separate or not. If oil separate your aloo masala is ready.

  6. Add Photo

    Now garnish with some coriander leaves.

  7. Add Photo

    Serve them with chapatti, rice and pooris.
