Ingredients

  1. 2 cups Besan
  2. 1 cup Yogurt
  3. 1 cup Water
  4. 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  5. 1 tsp Green chilli
  6. to taste Salt
  7. 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  8. 2 tbsp oil
  9. 1 tsp Eno
  10. 1 tsp Sugar
  11. 1 tsp mustard seed
  12. 2 tbsp chopped coriander

Cooking Instructions

    Take a bowl add Besan,a cup of warm water yogurt and mix it well avoid lumps.add salt and sugar mix again.

    Leave it aside to ferment for 3 hours, when Besan mixture has fermented add turmeric and green chilli. Mix. Heat a steamer and grease a thali.

    In a small bowl take Lemon juice Eno, oil and mix. Add it to the batter and whisk briskly.pour batter into the same thali and place it into the steamer.

    Cover it with the lid and steam for ten minutes. When it little cool cut into squares and keep it in a serving plate.

    Heat remaining oil in a small part add mustard seeds and splits green chilli. When it crackled remove and pour over the dhoklas.

    Serve, garnish it with leaves coriander and coconut scraped.
