Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cup rice
  2. 100 g peas, onion
  3. 2-4 cubes potatoes
  4. 4-5 pieces cauliflower
  5. 1 tomato
  6. 1 Green chilli
  7. 2-3 Garlic
  8. 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  9. 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
  10. 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  11. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  12. to taste Salt
  13. as needed Refined oil for frying
  14. as needed Mustard oil

Steps

  1. Firstly wash the rice and soak it for half and hour

  2. Cut the potatoes, cauliflower,onion,green chilli,garlic and wash them

  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the potatoes and cauliflower

  4. Again heat oil in pressure cooker and put cumin seeds onions garlic green chilli and saute it till the onion turns into brown

  5. Then add tomatoes and peas in a pan and saute it for 5 minutes

  6. Add garam masala powder red chilli powder turmeric and salt as per your taste

  7. Cook for 10 minutes add the soaked rice and add water according to the quantity of rice

  8. Close the cooker and cook it for 2 whistles

  9. Open the pressure cooker and mix the pulao gently

  10. Serve the pulao with pickle and raita.. Serve hot
