Tamarind and jaggery chutney
Ingredients

200 gram tamarind

150 gram jaggery

1/2 tsp asafetida

1 tsp oil
-
2 tsp ginger powder

1 tsp saunf powder

1 tsp red chilli powder
-
1/2 tsp red Kasmiri chilli powder

1 tsp salt to taste

1 tsp melon sheeds

Soke tamarind in 2 cup of water, mash it to the out the pulp. strain the pulp through a strainer.

Heat oil in pan, put asafoetida in it. saute it for few seconds.

Add tamarind pulp, jaggery let it cook at low flame till thickens to coat the spoon.

Add all the spice, melon sheeds and cook for another 5 minutes. Store in dry glass and serve.
