Ragi Dosa with Salad Curry and Ragi Coffee

Ragi is all time healthy to all the age group people. It's very nutritious. Vegetable salad also essential to our health, with calcium, iron content and so on. Above the age of 6 month each and everyone can have it, even diabetic also.

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. For dosa.. 1 cup Ragi seeds
  2. 1 cup whole wheat
  3. 1/4 cup ghee
  4. to taste Salt
  5. Water
  6. For salad curry
  7. 1 cup sprouted green gram
  8. 1 cup chopped Onion
  9. to taste Salt
  10. 1/4 cup Fresh green peas
  11. 1/2 cup chopped cucumber
  12. 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  13. For masala.
  14. 1 cup grated coconut
  15. 1 inch cinnamon
  16. 5-6 cloves garlic
  17. 3-4 cloves
  18. 1 red chilli
  19. 1 tsp Black pepper seeds
  20. 1/2 inch ginger
  21. Water
  22. 1/2 small gooseberry sized tamarind
  23. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  24. for ragi coffee.
  25. 50 gram ragi seeds
  26. 150 ml milk
  27. 300 ml water
  28. 1/2 cup Jaggery

Method

  1. Add Photo

    Dosa... Soak ragi and wheat overnight, drain the water.

  2. Add Photo

    Add in Mixie with water and salt.

  3. Add Photo

    Grind smoothly, pour into a vessel.

  4. Add Photo

    Add sufficient water, the batter should not be so watery or thick.

  5. Add Photo

    Heat tava, pour laddle full of batter and spread it.

  6. Add Photo

    Close the lid and cook for 2 minutes, open the lid sprinkle some ghee and flip over it.

  7. Add Photo

    Cook for a minute and remove, serve.

  8. Add Photo

    For salad gravy.. Mix the ingredients together and prepare salad.

    For masala grind the ingredients smoothly under masala.

  10. Add Photo

    Pour the ground masala in to salad vessel, add sufficient water and check salt.

    Bring it to boil well until good aroma, and serve along dosa.

    While having dosa to drink we need ragi coffee..

  13. Add Photo

    Soak ragi 50 grams overnight, drain and grind by adding milk and water little.

  14. Add Photo

    Pour the ground smooth paste into a vessel, add remaining water and milk.

  15. Add Photo

    Add Jaggery and mix well, stir continuously and boil it, it starts thickening.

  16. Add Photo

    Switch off and serve with 1dosa.

    It's a complete energetic, healthy morning breakfast for villagers.
