#Healthy Cooking with Millet
Kothimbir Vadi is a Maharashtrian snack dish. It's made with chickpea flour and coriander leaves. Here to make it more healthy I m using Ragi flour, and it came out very soft, spongy , fluffy and yummy.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup finger millet flour(ragi)
  2. 1/2 cup besan
  3. 1 tbs green chilli paste
  4. 1 tbs red chilli Powder
  5. 1 tbs sesame seeds
  6. 2 tbs crushed or coarsely grounded peanut powder
  7. to taste Salt
  8. 1 tbs hot oil
  9. 1/2 tsp cooking soda
  10. 1 cup coriander leaves chopped
  11. 1 inch ginger grated
  12. 1.2 tsp turmeric powder
  13. as needed Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Keep cooker on gas for steaming

    In a bowl add ragi flour besan, Rex chilli,turmeric green chilli paste, salt, sesame, peanut powder, cooking soda and oil mix well

    Add chopped coriander leaves mix

    Transfer the batter into greesed plate or mould

  5. 5

    Keep for steam for 14-15 min

  6. 6

    Once done off the gas

  7. 7

    Let it cool

  8. 8

    Cut into desired shape

  9. 9

    Deepfry or shallow till golden colour. It's ready to serve.

    Serve with chutney or saus.
