Spinach and Potato roll

Ingredients

  1. 4 medium size potato
  2. 1 cup chopped spinach
  3. 100 gm cottage cheese
  4. 1/2 cup finely chopped green coriander
  5. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  6. 2 tbsp samolina
  7. 1 tbsp gram flour
  8. 1 tsp finely chopped green chilli
  9. 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
  10. to taste Salt
  11. Oil for greasing

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the potato and grate it, keep it aside.

    Grind the spinach finely to make a paste..

    Crumbled the cottage cheese and mix green coriander add a pinch of salt and black pepper powder to taste.. keep it aside.

    Now in a bowl take grated potato, spinach purie, salt, red chilli powder, Gram flour, samolina, green chilli, ginger and mix it well.. add little water if required and make a consistent batter so that it can easily spread like a chilla..

    Rest the batter for half an hour..

    Now heat a non stick tawa and grease it with oil then put 2 tbsp batter and spread it into a thin disc shape.. turn the side and let it cook till turn golden brown and crisp from both side..

    Now spread a mixture of cottage cheese on one side and make a roll..

    Cut it into 1 inch piece and serve it with ketchup or chutney..
