Ingredients

100gm Black Chana (chick-pea)

150 gm Palak

1 Onion finely chopped

1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste

2 Puree tomatoes

1 tsp Coriander powder

1/2 tsp Red chilli powder

1/2 tsp Turmeric powder

1/2 tsp Garam masala

to taste Salt

1 tbsp Crumbled paneer

as needed Cooking oil
Cooking Instructions

Soak black chana overnight and pressure cook for 20 minutes. Boil spinach separtely and grind coursely

Heat oil in a pan and fry onion. When it is half fried, add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric and coriander powder and fry for another 5 minutes.

Add tomato puree and red chilli powder and fry till it leaves oil.
Add boiled black chana, spinach, and salt. -

Add 1/2 cup water to mix all the contents, cover it and cook for another 10 minutes.

Add crumbled paneer and cook for 5minutes
Sprinkle garam masala in the end and stir well -

Serve hot with chapatis or pratha
