Raw mango koshimbir (maharashtrian salad)

Ingredients

A. For koshimbir :

1 raw mango, chopped into cubes

1/2 cup Chana dal
-
5-6 neem leaves
-
1 cup water
-
1/2 tsp sugar
-
Salt as per taste

For Tadka :

2-3 curry leaves
-
1 chopped green chilli
-
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
-
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
-
Pinch hing
-
as needed Oil
Cooking Instructions

1. Put all the ingredients of koshimbir in the grinder and grind it(coarsely).

2. Put oil in pan, let it become hot. Put cumin seeds, mustard seeds and hing in it. Then put curry leaves and chilli and fry it for 2 minutes. The tadka is ready.

3. Now place the koshimbir in a bowl and pour the tadka on it. Mix it well.
