Dal Makhni

  1. 1 bowl black urad
  2. 1/2 cup rajma
  3. 1 bowl tomato puree
  4. 1/2 bowl onion paste
  5. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  6. 1 tsp dal makhni masala
  7. 1 tsp garam masala
  8. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  9. To taste salt
  10. as needed Ghee


  1. Add Photo

    Soaked overnight rajma and Dal.

  2. Add Photo

    Boiled the dal and rajma and keep aside.

  3. Add Photo

    Heat ghee in a pressure cooker add cumin seeds and onion paste, saute it.

  4. Add Photo

    When change in colour add ginger garlic paste and tomato puree, saute it.

  5. Add Photo

    Added all spices and saute till leave the oil.

  6. Add Photo

    Add boiled dal, rajma and enough water, take 2 whistles.

  7. Add Photo

    Cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes.

  8. Add Photo

    Serve with naan.
