Ingredients

  1. 1 cup flour
  2. 1 cup grated carrot
  3. 1/2 cup chopped dates
  4. 1 cup powdered sugar
  5. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  6. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  7. 3/4 cup oil
  8. as needed Few chopped cashews

Cooking Instructions

    Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and set aside.

    Mix oil and sugar well. Add the egg yolks and beat the mixture until light and creamy.

    Add the dates and carrots to it and mix well.

    Mix the flour mixture into the sugar mixture.

    Best the egg whites in a separate bowl until soft stiff peaks are formed and then fold this into the mixture prepared.

    Pre heat the oven for 10 min and then bake it at 350 F for about an hour or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
