Suji ki idli sambhar and coconut chutni

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup suji
  2. 1/2 cup sour curd
  3. To taste Salt
  4. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  5. 1/2 cup arhar daal
  6. To taste Salt
  7. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  8. 1 cup bottle gourd chopped
  9. 3 teaspoon ghee
  10. 1 pinch hing
  11. 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  12. 2 Red chilli
  13. 4 Curry leaves
  14. 1 teaspoon sambhar masala
  15. 1/2 cup coconut powder
  16. To taste Salt
  17. 1 red chilli
  18. 5 curry leaves
  19. 1/4 roasted chana
  20. 1/4 cup curd
  21. 2 teaspoon oil
  22. 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Add salt in suji.

    Soak suji in curd.

    If needed add water.

    Keep aside for 30 minutes

    After 30 minutes stir the batter.

    Check consistency it should be like pakoda batter. If needed add water.

    Add baking soda and immediately transfer it to idli mould which should be greased.

    Steam for 10 minutes on medium flame or microwave for 5 minutes.

    Idli is ready

    Wash and soak arhar daal for 30 minutes

    After 30 minutes add salt and turmeric powder and sambhar masala.

    Add water accordingly.

    Take 1 whistle on medium flame.

    Take ghee in pan.heat it.

    Add hing and mustard seeds.

    Add curry leaves and red chilli.

    Pour this to cooked sambhar.

    Sambhar is ready

    Take coconut powder, roasted chane, curd.

    Grind it

    Take oil in pan.

    Heat it

    Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chilli.

    Pour chutni to it.

    Add salt.If needed add water accordingly.

    Cook for few minutes.

    Chutni is ready.

    SuJi idli, sambhar, coconut chutni is ready to serve.
