Bhindi Masala

A spicy recipe of okra

6-7 servings
  1. 500 gm okra or bhindi
  2. 2 onion
  3. 2 green chilli
  4. 1 tsp cumin
  5. 1/2 tsp methi dana
  6. 1 tsp kashmiri mirch,turmeric,coriander powder
  7. 1/2 tsp cumin powder and garam masala
  8. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  9. to taste Salt
  10. 3 tsp oil
  11. 2 chopped garlic

  1. Add Photo

    Heat oil in a kadai.Once hot, toss in the cumin. Seed and chilli. Add chopped garlic.Allow to splutter cumin add green chilli and onions.

    Stir-fry on medium heat until browned. Add ginger garlic paste fry it 2 min add in oil turmeric and kashmiri mirch saute it few sec. Tgen add whole masalas. Add mix it well.
    Add the chopped okra and stir-fry for a few minutes until cooked and aromat.
    Remove the okra from heat, once fried and lightly browned. In medium flame cook 10 min.

  3. Add Photo

    Cooked it uncover, add salt and mix well.Allow to cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
    Serve it.
