French Fries

There's none who does not love french fries. Easy and simple to make, homemade are the best

  1. 250 gm potatoes
  2. 1 tbsp salt
  3. Oil for frying
  4. 4 cups water


  1. Change

    Boil water with salt

  2. Change

    Peel and Chop potatoes lengthwise thin or thick as desired

  3. Change

    Once water starts boiling, add potatoes. Switch off. Let potatoes rest in hot water for 6-7 minutes

  4. Change

    Drain excess water and allow potatoes to dry. If you are in a hurry you can dab them dry with kitchen towel

  5. Change

    Heat oil in a kadai, add potatoes in it. Do not overcrowd the pan, fry potatoes in batches. Fry them until they are just cooked yet aren't golden brown

  6. Change

    Let excess oil be absorbed by Kitchen towel

  7. Change

    Just before serving, deep fry them until golden brown

  8. Add Photo

    Drain excess oil and serve immediately with sauce or mayonnaise
