Sprouts r very rich in protein, but bcoz, of it's typical smell kids avoid it. So I found a solution to the problem by making samosa which is usually kids favorite.

Ingredients

  1. 10-12 samosa pattis
  2. 2 tbsp oil
  3. 1/2 tsp Jeera
  4. 1/2 tsp hing
  5. 1 tsp ginger chilli paste
  6. 2-3 tbsp finely chopped onions
  7. 3/4 cups boiled and semi crushed mixed sprouts (any sprouts)
  8. to taste Salt
  9. 1 tsp sugar
  10. 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  11. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  12. 1 tsp garam masala
  13. 1/2 tsp turmeric
  14. Oil for frying
  15. Maida slurry to stick the edges of samosas

Cooking Instructions

    Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add jeera and allow to crackle

    Then add Hing, ginger chilli paste and onions and saute till onions are translucent.

    Then add turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala and sprouts and mix well and cook a while

  4. 4

    Then add salt, sugar, ketchup and mix well and off the flame

  5. 5

    Take the samosa Patti's and fold to a cone and fill with the stuffing and seal the edges with maida slurry.

    Make more such samosas and deep fry in hot oil till golden.

    Serve hot with ketchup.
