Spinach pakoras with apple honey dip

Ingredients

  1. 1 tbsp Chilli ginger garlic paste
  2. 1/2 cup Coriander and mint paste
  3. 1/2 cup Chopped spinach
  4. 2 tbsp Curd
  5. 1 pinch Cooking soda
  6. 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  7. 1/2 tsp Carrom seeds
  8. 2 tsp Lemon juice
  9. 1 tsp Sugar
  10. to taste Salt
  11. as needed Oil – to grease
  12. For accompaniments:-
  13. Apple and honey dip:-
  14. 3 tbsp Apple juice
  15. 2 tbsp Honey
  16. 1/2 cup Creamy Curd
  17. 2 tsp Oregano
  18. to taste Salt and pepper – as preferred

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl, mix Chickpea flour with Chilli ginger garlic paste, and mix well.

    Add mint and Coriander paste, salt, lemon juice and sugar.

    Add chopped spinach, Curd, Carrom seeds, sesame seeds in it and mix well.

  4. 4

    Finally, add cooking soda and mix well.

  5. 5

    Grease a plate with oil, pour this prepared mixture in the plate and steam it in the steamer.

    Once done, and the plate has cooled, cut medium sized pieces of it.

    For the dip, mix all the ingredients and beat it till a thick mixture is formed.

    Serve the pakoras with the prepared dip.
