Red velvet cake
Ingredients

1 1/4 cup maida

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 cup Milk
-
1 Lemon
-
5-6 drops Red food colour
-
1 tsp Cocoa powder

1 tsp Baking powder
-
1/4 tsp Baking soda

1 cup Whipping cream powder

1 cup milk
-
2 tbsp Icing sugar
Cooking Instructions

Seive maida,cocoa powder,baking soda and baking powder 2-3 times

Beat butter. Add sugar and beat well till fluffy

Squeeze lemon juice to the milk and let it sit for 5 mins

Add milk to the butter and beat well

Add all the dry ingredients to this and mix well

Add red food colour and give it a nice mix

Grease a pan and sprinkle some flour and pour this mixture to it

Preheat oven at 180 degree

Bake this cake for 40-45 mins till a toothpick comes out clean

Cool it completely and cut into half horizontally

Mix whipping cream powder with milk and beat well

ADd icing sugar and beat till soft peaks appear

Spread some whipped cream all over the cake and place the other layer over it..cover all with whipped cream

Made designs using a piping bag and nozzle..decorate with the cake crumbs
