Crispy Poha Namkeen

  1. 1 cup poha
  2. 2 slices bread or 2 buns
  3. 2 tablespoon rice flour
  4. 2 green chilli finely chopped
  5. 1 onion finely chopped
  6. 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  7. 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
  8. 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes
  9. 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  10. 1 teaspoon ajwain
  11. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  12. to taste Salt
  13. 2-3 tablespoon yogurt
  14. 2 tablespoon chopped coriander


  1. Grease a tray for the poha namkeen to set
    Wash poha and let it soak for couple of minutes. I have used brown buns but you can use any bread. Soak in water and squeeze the water out and add to poha. Add all ingredients and make a dough. If it looks dry add more yogurt. Set in the greaseproof tray. Leave it to set for ten minutes and cut in small pieces. Shallow fry or deep fry. Whichever you prefer.
