  1. 1 cup arhar daal
  2. 1 tsp cumin seed
  3. 1 red chilli whole
  4. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  5. 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  6. To taste salt and sugar
  7. As needed oil

Cooking Instructions

    Heat a pan add oil and temper cumin seeds and red chillies

  2. 2

    Add hing/asafoetida and turmeric powder

  3. 3

    Pour the daal and boil adding salt and sugar
