Ingredients

  1. 400 g plain flour
  2. 3 tbs sugar
  3. 3 TBS oil
  4. 1 cup warm coconut milk or milk
  5. Iliki (cardamom) optional
  6. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    In a large bowl add sugar milk, oil, iliki and coconut milk mix well. Then pour your flour little at a time, add Knead to a smooth dough for around 7-10 mins

    Cover your dough and keep it in a warm place for 30 mins. After the mins have elapsed knead you dough once again and then divide it into equal balls.

    Roll the balls into circle and divide the circle into four triangles or you can just roll them into small circles

    Let you uncooked mahamri rest for 5 mins the deep fry them in medium heat until golden brown.

    Serve with hot tea and mbaazi
