Healthy Granola Bar

Cheap granola bar. We can put in a ziplock and freeze.
コツ、ポイント
For fruits & nuts mix, I use "Cranberry Delight Mix" from Sobey's. (cranberry, nuts, rasin, sunflower seeds etc)
材料
(8 bars)
a) Oatmeal
1 cup
a) Desiccated coconut
1/4 cup
b) Honey
1/2 cup
b) Butter
1 tablespoon
b) Sugar (SUCANAT if possible)
2 tablespoon
b) Vanilla oil
1/4 teaspoon
b) Salt
little bit
c) Fruits&Nuts mix
1 cup
c) Whole wheat flour
1/4 cup
Dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup
このレシピの生い立ち
I wanted to make a healthy, cheap and easy-to-make snack.
1.
Preheat oven to 340F.
2.
Put oatmeal and coconut on oven tray with parchment paper.
3.
Toast 2) in the oven for 10-15 min till starts to smell good
4.
Mix honey, butter, sugar, vanilla oil and salt in a cup.
5.
Microwave 4) for about 30 sec so that it dissolves.
6.
Mix 3) and fruits mix and flour. Then add 5) and mix.
7.
When it is not too hot, add chocolate chips.
8.
Gently pack in a pound cake mold with parchment paper.
9.
Bake 25 min in 300F oven.
10.
Cool down for a few hour. When it is solid, cut into pieces.
