From 1 cup of azuki beans (150g), 350 grams of boiled azuki beans can be produced.
The point of making boiled azuki beans is to add red beans to boiling water.
|1.||Rinse 1 cup (150g) of azuki beans.|
|2.||Put 3 cups (600ml) water in a medium pan,|
|3.||then bring to a boil.|
|4.||When the water is boiling, put the beans in.|
|5.||Cover the pan, reduce the heat to medium.|
|6.||and simmer for about 40 minutes.|
|7.||Add 1 cup of cold water.|
|8.||Stir gently once.|
|9.||9.Then, simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes.|
|10.||Continue to cook the beans until as tender as you like them.|
|11.||Drain them into a sieve.|
