My mother made this for me and it was delicious.

This is best with lots of cabbage.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 can Canned mackerel in broth
  2. 1/4 Cabbage
  3. 2 Eggs
  4. 1/2 tsp ●Dashi stock granules
  5. 1 tbsp ●Sugar
  6. 1 tbsp ●Soy sauce

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Put the canned mackerel in a pan with the broth, and slightly flake.

    Put roughly chopped up cabbage on top of the mackerel, and add the ● flavoring ingredients.

  3. 3

    Cook over low-medium heat with a lid on. Stir it up occasionally, and simmer until the cabbage browns (about 5 minutes or so).

  4. 4

    When everything is cooked through, drop an egg on top, cover with a lid and cook until the surface of the egg turns white.

I made this tonight and it was delicious. My husband doesn't like runny eggs so I cooked his a bit longer, and we both loved it. Will definitely make again!
