  1. 300 g very thinly sliced beef
  2. 1 onion
  3. 3.5 tbsp soy source
  4. 1 tbsp mirin
  5. 1/2 tbsp sugar
  6. 200 ml dashi broth
  7. 600-850 g cooked rice
  8. Sliced pickled red ginger

15 minutes
  1. Soy sauce, mirin, sugar and dashi(powder). Prepare 200ml dashi broth from the powder.

  2. Cut the onion in half(lengthwise), then slice it into 7-8mm width

  3. Heat soy sauce, mirin and sugar in a saucepan

  4. Let it boil for a second

  5. Add the beef and cook in high temperature for 2-3 minutes

  6. Stirring continuously

  7. Add the onions and dashi broth

  8. Place the lid and cook on medium heat for 7-8 minutes, stirring twice in between. You can make this lid with aluminum foil. With this lid, all the ingredients soak the soup well.

  10. Scoop the cooked rice in a bowl and place the beef on top with the sauce.Garnish with pickled ginger (optional)
