Pork with kefalotyri and peppers

A super easy recipe to make, with no trouble at all, ideal for a festive meal!!

  1. 1 kg pork cut into small pieces or portions
  2. 250 g grated kefalotyri (a Greek hard salty yellow cheese)
  3. 3-4 peppers, green
  4. 2-3 red or yellow peppers
  5. 1 can diced tomatoes
  6. salt, pepper


  1. Change

    Cut the meat into portions or small pieces and season with salt and pepper.

  2. Change

    Cut the peppers into rings.

  3. Change

    Use a baking tray with a lid or casserole dish and spread a layer of grated kefalotyri, a layer of peppers and the meat on top. Repeat with kefalotyri, then peppers.

  4. Change

    Spread the diced tomatoes on top, cover with the lid and bake covered at 200°C for about 2 hours.

  5. Change

    You don't need to add any extra water because the pork lets out its liquids.
