Easy-peasy apple cake #helpfulcook

This is an adaptation of the Portuguese yoghurt cake recipe, known for being an easy one and working every time. No hardware, no fancy ingredients, quick and hassle-free.
Use apple yoghurt, vanilla or even plain natural. Just avoid "fat-free" because those are usually more starch than milk.
You can have this treat ready in less than an hour, from craving to enjoying :)

Ingredients

  1. 2 medium apples, sliced
  2. 1 yoghurt pot (used as measure): 125g or 110ml
  3. 3 measures flour
  4. 3 measures sugar
  5. 3 eggs
  6. 1/2 measure oil
  7. 1 tablespoon baking powder
  8. 1 tablespoon cinammon

Method

  1. Change

    Line a small rectangular baking tin with parchment paper.

    Set the lower rack of the oven. Turn it on to 180°.

  3. Change

    Slice the apples (2-3 mm thick).

  4. Change

    Empty the yoghurt pod to use it as your measure.

  5. Change

    Mix all the ingredients as you prefer (ok, sieve the flour if must).

  6. Change

    Give the mix a good wisk to get some air in. When it starts bubbling, pour it into the tin.

    Dunk the apple slices vertically (the batter is thick enough to hold them in place).

    Put the tin in the oven and wait 35 minutes (a little more if you're using a deeper tin).
