My Marinated Crispy Chicken Strips in Breadcrumbs ๐Ÿ˜‹

Really tasty when you marinate the chicken first. ๐Ÿ‘

2 servings
  1. 1 chicken breast cut into strips
  2. 2 tbsp light soya sauce
  3. 1 tsp Brown Sugar
  4. 1/2 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
  5. 1 tsp plain flour
  6. 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  7. 1 pinch Salt
  8. 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  9. 2 Egg Whites
  10. 2 tsp Golden Linseed for a crunchy coating (optional )

Method

  1. Change

    Add the soya sauce to the bowl

  2. Change

    Add the brown sugar and mix

  3. Change

    Add the balsamic vinegar and mix again

  4. Change

    Add the flour and mix, then add the chicken and toss until all chicken is covered. Let it marinate for 1 hr

  5. Blank step
    Add Photo

    Turn oven on after the marinated time to heat up - 170ยฐC/gas 6

  6. Change

    Add the egg whites to a bowl, add the breadcrumbs in a larger bowl and add the linseed if using them into the breadcrumbs and mix

  7. Change

    Add the salt and pepper to the breadcrumbs also and mix

  8. Change

    Dip the chicken strip into the egg white and cover all over , next dip it into the breadcrumbs mix and cover, repeat these until they are all done

  9. Change

    Spray a flat oven dish with olive oil place the chicken strips laid out carefully and spray a little over them. If you use an air fryer, thats a good way of cooking these too.

    Add Photo

    Pop them in the pre heated oven 170ยฐC/gas 6 for 10 minutes then turn them over for a further 10 minutes. Turn over again and cook on a lower heat for a further 10 minutes on 150ยฐC/gas 5.

  11. Change

    Put them on a serving plate with a dip of your choice. I have used sour cream and black cracked pepper recipe.
