Chicken teriyaki #familyfriendly



  1. Chicken part
  2. 2 chicken breasts or 4-6 small chicken fillet
  3. 2 tbsp cooking oil
  4. pinch salt and ground pepper
  5. 2 garlic clovers finely chopped
  6. 2 handful broccoli
  7. Teriyaki sauce
  8. 1 tbsp grated ginger
  9. 2 tbsp soy sauce
  10. 1 tbsp honey
  11. 1 tbsp brown sugar
  12. 1-2 tsp mirin
  13. 1 tsp sake
  14. 1/4 cup water or chicken stock
  15. (Crispy garlic and toasted sesame is optional)


  1. In a small bowl, mix all of teriyaki sauce ingredients together. Leave it aside

  2. If you use chicken breasts cut chicken breasts in half (vertical way) but if you use chicken fillets leave them in whole. Put some salt, ground pepper and massage on chicken for a min.

  3. On medium heated pan, pour some oil in then garlic and stir for a couple min until garlic start to get crispy.

  4. Add chicken in and stir for about 10-12 min until chicken 90% cooked

  5. Pour teriyaki sauce in and stir well. Leave it to simmer for another 5 min.

  6. Add water on a small saucepan, heat up until water boiling

  7. Add some salt

  8. Branch broccoli in the boiling water for about 5-8 min

  9. Serve chicken teriyaki with with sushi rice, jasmine or long grain rice and broccoli.
