Sprinkle cake

One of my favourites at school, great with custard 🍮



  1. 225 gms butter
  2. 225 gms caster sugar
  3. 225 gms self raising flour
  4. 4 large eggs
  5. 2 teaspoon baking powder
  6. Sprinkles
  7. 300 gms Icing sugar about


  1. Add Photo

    Preheat oven to 180c or 160c fan,

  2. Add Photo

    Line and grease a 13x9 inch tin with baking parchment

  3. Add Photo

    Mix all cake ingredients together until well combined

  4. Add Photo

    Transfer to tin and level off, bake in the middle of the oven for about 30 to 35 minutes or until sponge springs back when pressed

  5. Add Photo

    When you take it out of oven let it cool completely then mix icing sugar with a couple of teaspoons of water and spread over cake, then cover with sprinkles

  6. Add Photo

    Cut into what sizes you like and serve enjoy!!
