Triple Apple Pie
Using up the last of last year’s apples that I puréed and froze!
Ingredients

1 large bag Apple Purée (1 kilo?)

500 grams Puff Pastry

2 eggs

Butter to grease tins with

Flour for rolling out!

This made 2 large and 2 small pies
Cooking Instructions

Flour a large board, then roll out pastry very thin. Grease tins with the butter. Cut pastry to fit and trim edges.

Whisk the 2 eggs in a cup with a fork, and brush over the pastry

Tip Apple Purée into the tins to about 3/4 deep. Wash, core then slice the apples thinly and arrange on top

Brush more whisked egg over the top of the slices of Apple. Bake in medium hot over for about 20 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.

Can be eaten hot or cold, with custard, or cream, or on its own! Enjoy! Please share a photo if you try this!
