A bit of everything, you can eat on its own with nice bread or have potatoes mashed or boiled whole. Half the recipe i made a large pan ful and i will freeze some for another time. It was really lovely. Glad i put in what i did and bit of luck it was the right amount of everything. #Beefstew

Ingredients

1+1/2 hours
6 servings
  1. 900 g Stewing Steak
  2. 1 +1/2 onion chopped
  3. 5 carrots chopped
  4. 1 cup frozen mixed veg
  5. 2 garlic cloves diced
  6. 1 green chilli diced
  7. 2 hanfuls of spinach
  8. 1 cup Red wine
  9. 1 tbls woresestershire sauce
  10. 1 tsp black cracked pepper
  11. 1 dried veg stock cube
  12. 1 tsp Sea salt
  13. 1 tsp dried red pepper
  14. 2 litres boiling water
  15. 2 heaped tbls cornstarch/flour mixed in 1/4 Cup cold water

Cooking Instructions

    In a pressure cooker or in a casserole dish to oven bake.Add the steak pieces,Carrots and tomatoes.

    Chopped garlic

    Bay leaves and frozen veg

    Green chilli chopped

    Red wine

  7. 7

    Worsestershire sauce

  8. 8

    Salt n pepper

  9. 9

    Dried beef stock and veg stock

  10. 10

    Boiling water

  11. 11

    Tsp crushed peppers (optional)

  12. 12

    Stir once and close the lid and cook. 45 minutes in pressure cooker. 1+1/2 hours on low heat in the oven. Or overnight in a slow cooker.

    At the end of cooking thicken with cornflour more if you need it thicker. Serve with boiled potatoes or mash potatoes.
