Home made chipatis and daal, made with Izzy on a lazy Sunday.
This amount of ingredients made a lot of food! So half if it’s too much!
Chop everything up and place the onions, garlic, ginger and spices into the pot first
Then add chopped cauliflower and sweet potato
Then the coconut milk and some extra water. As well as the lentils.
Pour the other ingredients in after the other veg is softened and let the pot sit for around 20 mins simmering. Or until the lentils are cooked.
Serve with coriander, yoghurt and lime pickle.
We also made some chipatis (Paul Hollywood’s recipe is very easy!)
