Chili con carne
Whenever I have friends coming over to my house with a bottle of wine, this is something I always prepare for them.
Leftover chili is perfect for breakfast next day!
Ingredients

100 g ground beef

100 g ground pork

1 onion

1 clove garlic

1 can(400g) beans (usually kidney beans but I used soy beans instead)

1 can(400g)tomatoes

■200 g water or red wine

■1 tbsp chili powder

■1 tbsp cumin

■2 tbsp ketchup
-
■1 dry laurel
-
■1 consome cube or 1tsp salt

■1 tsp sugar

salt and pepper
Cooking Instructions

Dice the garlic and onion into small pieces. Heat oil in a pot and cook the vegetables.

Add in the meat. Keep cooking until it's soft and brown.

Add the beans and ■. When it starts to boil, finally add the tomato can and simmer at low heat for about 20-25min.

Mix occasionally. Don't use the lid.

Adjust with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
