I tried to make it as easy as possible to make a cute Mickey Mouse, which is normally difficult!

Fix the ears with the sausage and some pasta. If you spread some mayonnaise on thinly, it won't come apart. Recipe by Mai*Mai

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1 Plain cooked rice
  2. 1 Nori seaweed
  3. 1 slice Cheese
  4. 1 Sausage or similar
  5. 1 Beer ham (for Minnie)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Form a round rice ball. Cut the edges of the nori seaweed off and wrap the rice ball with the seaweed. Cover in plastic wrap and blend the seaweed in evenly around the rice ball.

  2. 2

The parts are made of nori seaweed and cheese. The cheeks are ketchup.

  3. 3

To make the face, draw the shape on a piece of parchment paper and cut around the edges. Then place the paper onto the cheese and cut the cheese to fit the shape. Make it a size big enough to fit the rice balls!

  4. 4

To make the ears, cut nori seaweed into circles and place onto the cheese. Cut the cheese around the seaweed. If you place some thickly cut sausage underneath, it's easy to fix together.

  5. 5

To make the ribbon, I made it with ham but you can use whatever ham you like.

  6. 6

Place the onigiri into the bento and fix the ears in place. Once you've added all the parts, you're finished!

  7. 7

    Mickey.

  8. 8

    Minnie.
