Easy Sakura Inari Sushi for Bento

I wanted to make something simple for my bento.

It's okay to give the sakura petals just a quick rinse. You'll get a better sakura smell if you don't soak the petals in water. Recipe by Asamato

Ingredients

5 servings
  1. 200 grams Cooked white rice
  2. 1 Sushi vinegar
  3. 5 Inari aburaage (store-bought)
  4. 10 Salt-preserved cherry blossoms

Method

  1. Change

    Add the sushi vinegar to the freshly cooked white rice along with 5 of the cherry blossoms, finely chopped and rinsed, and mix well.

  2. Change

    Stuff this mixture into the inari abura-age and decorate with the remaining cherry blossoms.

  3. Change

    It's better if you don't add any other fillings; that way you can get the full aroma of the sakura.
