Bean Sprouts and Fried Tofu in Peanut Sauce

300 grams bean sprouts (300 gram tauge)

1 extra firm tofu, pat dry, dice into 0.5 inch cubes (1 buah tahu putih, potong dadu 0,5 inch)

1 teaspoon soy sauce (1 sendok teh kecap asin)

1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce (1 sendok makan kecap manis)

1 tablespoon rice vinegar (1 sendok makan cuka beras)

1 1/2 teaspoons fish sauce (1 1/2 sendok teh kecap ikan)

1 scallion, chopped (1 batang daun bawang, potong-potong)

1 lime, make juice (1 buah jeruk nipis, ambil airnya)

1 tablespoon fried shallots, optional (1 sendok makan bawang merah goreng)

Vegetable oil for frying (minyak untuk menggoreng)
Cara Membuat

Wash the bean sprouts under running water. Then soak in hot water for 3 minutes. Drain the excess water. Set aside (Cuci tauge di bawah air mengalir. Kemudian rendam dalam air panas selama 3 menit. Tiriskan)

Over a medium heat, pour vegetable oil into a medium frying pan. Fry the tofu for 2-3 minutes or until golden. Drain on the paper towels (Di atas api sedang, panaskan minyak goreng dalam penggorengan ukuran sedang. Goreng tahu selama2-3 menit atau sampai kekuningan. Tiriskan)

Using a pestle and mortar, crush garlic, Thai chili, salt, brown sugar and mushroom into a paste. (Ulek bawang putih, cabai rawit, garam, gula merah dan bubuk kaldu jamur sampai halus)

In a medium bowl, blend peanut butter and hot water. Mix until incorporated. (Dalam wadah ukuran sedang, campur peanut butter dan air panas sampai merata)
