Matcha Green Tea and White Chocolate Cookies

I'm a huge fan of American chewy chocolate chip cookies. I even think I eat more cookies than Elmo. I tried making cookies in the American way but with Japanese ingredients like green tea MATCHA. You know you can't buy these cookies at the store. If you like ice cream, try making ice cream sandwiches! It's freaking amazing! woooo.

  1. 100 g (3.5oz)unsalted butter
  2. 50 g (1/4 U.S.cup)granulated sugar
  3. 100 g (1/2U.S.cup)brown sugar
  4. 1 pinch salt
  5. 1 Egg
  6. 150 g (5 and 1/4oz)all purpose flour
  7. 1 Tbsp matcha green tea powder
  8. 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  9. 1/2 U.S. cup coarsely chopped white chocolate or white chocolate chips

    Preparation: Preheat the oven to 330F. Shift flour, green tea, and baking soda together.

    Microwave butter until it's melted. Combine the sugar and butter together. Add the egg and salt, then mix.

    Combine all powder ingredients with a spatula. Add the white chocolate.

    Drop cookie dough in rounded tablespoonfuls onto the parchment paper. Leave a space between each piece of dough.

    Bake 6 to 8 min. Don't over bake!
