Easy Apple Crisp For Two

This is a simple dessert that can be made quickly and is really tasty. This recipe serves two, but you can double or even triple of making this for more. I like mine served with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and a drizzle of homemade salted caramel sauce.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2 apples, peeled and cut into thin slices
  2. juice of 1/2 a small lemon
  3. 6 tbsp. brown sugar, divided
  4. 1 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
  5. 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg, divided
  6. 6 tbsp. old fashioned oats
  7. 4 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
  8. 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  9. handful finely chopped pecans
  10. pinch salt

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x5" loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray and set it aside. You could also use oven safe ramekins, I just don't have any.
