Baked Lotus Root With Szechuan Peppercorns

Used To Have This Snack In Chongqing China ,
They Will Skewer it and apply Szechuan Peppercorn and Chili Oil And BBQ it

I Do It At Home Just Bake It ,, You Can Use Just Black pepper if you don't have Szechuan peppercorn

  1. 1 feet Long of lotus roots
  2. 2 tbsp Szechuan peppercorn

    Peel and thinly slice the lotus roots

  2. Change

    Layer on a baking tray and drizzle with some oil

  3. Add Photo

    Season generously with Szechuan peppercorn and bake it at 170 C for 1 hour minute, flipping over after 30 minutes
