Mongolian Beef

Mongolian Beef

My son is my muse when it comes to cooking because he loves all food in general and he loves my cooking so I try to cook food that I know he wants to eat. This is one of his all time favorite dish so I decided to teach myself how to make it.

4 servings
  1. 1 1/2 lb flank steak
  2. 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  3. 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  4. 3 tbsp garlic, minced
  5. 1 1/2 tbsp lemon or lime juice
  6. 3/4 cup soy sauce
  7. 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  8. 1 1/2 tbsp chili sauce
  9. 2 tbsp vinegar
  10. 1/4 cup sprite
  11. 1/2 cup water
  12. 1/4 cup brown sugar
  13. 1 tbsp chili powder depending on how spicy you want it
  14. 2 tbsp cornstarch
