Thai Stir-fried Spicy Minced Pork With Holy Basil (Pad Kra Prao Moo Sap)

"Pad kra Prao" is very popular food in Thailand. The main ingredient is the holy basil leave or "Kra Prao" and some meat any kind as you wish. This recipe is spicy but you can no add any chili if you can't eat spicy. Thai people like to eat "Pad Kra Prao" with rice and fried egg (khai Dao). "Pad" mean "stir fried" . "Kra prao" mean "Holy basil" . "Moo sap" mean minced pork

Ingredients

  1. 250 grams Minced Pork
  2. 1 cup Holy basil leaves
  3. 3 clove Chopped Garlic
  4. 1 as needed Thai Chili
  5. 1 medium Sliced Onions
  6. 1 cup Chopped Carrots
  7. 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  8. 3 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  9. 1 tbsp Sugar
  10. 1 as needed Pepper
  11. 2 tbsp Cooking Oil

  1. Heat the pan on medium. Add cooking oil and chopped garlic. Stir fried until garlic smell.

  2. Add minced pork , soy sauce , sugar , pepper. Stir-fried until minced pork done.

  3. Add Thai chili , onions , carrots or any vegetable that you like. Stir fried until all well cooked.

  4. Add oyster sauce and holy basil. Stir quickly and turn off the stove. Ready to serve with some rice.
