Creamy Mustard Sauce

Wea always use this sauce with shellfish, but found its so good for all sorts of dishes. As a sandwich spread, dip for meats and vegetables!

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup mayonnaise
  2. 2 tbsp sour cream
  3. 2 tsp dry powdered mustard such as colemans brand
  4. 2 tsp Worestershire sauce
  5. 1 tsp A 1 steak sauce
  6. 1 tsp lemon juice
  7. 1/4 tsp black pepper
  8. 1/2 tbsp hot sauce such as franka brand

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Combine all ingredients in a bowl, whisk well to combine. Chill at least 30 minutes to blend flavors. Store in refrigerator.

    This sauce is great on sandwiches, as a dip for any meat, and fish even good with vegetables!

“Fenway” passed away on 2/3/2021. For the last year she tried to teach her husband of 42 years how to cook like her. Although I will never be as good of a cook as her she did pass on her passion for cooking. Therefore, I will attempt to carry on her legacy and maintain/update her site. My wife was a Registered Nurse, a licensed deep water aerobics instructor, a mother to our 2 children and a fantastic cook. We grew up in New England but have been fortunate to live all over the US. I am now retired, missing her terribly, but thankful for all the years we had together and all her cooking lessons.
