Some call it Apple Brown Betty also, I just call it yummy! Crisp and crunchy topping with warm delicious apples. I love this warm with vanilla ice cream. I hope you enjoy :)

  1. 4 apples (4 cups) peeled and sliced
  2. 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  3. 1/2 cup quick cook oats
  4. 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  5. 1/3 cup butter, room temp
  6. Teaspoon cinnamon
  7. Can substitute apple, blueberry, peach or cherry pie filling

  1. Preheat oven to 375.

  2. Butter sides and bottom of cassarole dish.

  3. Place sliced apples or filling in dish and spread out evenly.

  4. In medium bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter until crumbly.

  5. I like using a fork or hands to mix it into pea size crumbs.

  6. Sprinkle evenly over apples.

  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until apples are tender and top is golden brown.
