Slow Cooker Goulash

Savory and comforting on a cold day. Easy to throw in the crock pot and go about your day.

  1. 2 lb Ground Beef
  2. 1 TBSP Olive Oil
  3. 2 Green Pepper, diced
  4. 1 large Onion, diced
  5. 2 jars Tomato & Basil Classico Pasta Sauce
  6. 2 clove fresh garlic, minced
  7. 1 can mushrooms
  8. 1 Bay Leaf
  9. 1 TBSP Parsley
  10. 1/2 TBSP Italian Seasoning
  11. 1 Tsp Oregano
  12. 1 Tsp Salt
  13. 1/2 Tsp Smoked Paprika
  14. 1/2 Tsp Ground Pepper
  15. 1 Pkg Medium Pasta Shells

  1. Change

    Pour the jars of pasta sauce in the slow cooker. The brand I chose is soy free and delicious. You can also make sauce from scratch, but I have a curious infant and wanted to be quick.

  2. Change

    In a medium skillet cook the ground beef in the Olive Oil until browned and add to slow cooker.

    Prep your vegetables and add to the sauce.

  4. Change

    Prep the seasonings and add to the sauce.

  5. Change

    Mix everything together and cook on low for a minimum of 6 hours.

    20 minutes before the sauce is done, put water on to boil with some olive oil and salt. Cook the shells aldente.

  7. Change

    Drain, mix into the sauce, and serve!

    Garnish with fresh parsley and grated parmesan.
