  1. 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  2. 1 cup butter softened
  3. 1 tsp salt
  4. 1 tsp baking soda
  5. 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  6. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  7. 2 large eggs
  8. 1 3/4 cup chocolate chips (11.5 oz bag)

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375. Sift together flour salt and baking soda, set aside.

    Beat butter both sugars and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add the eggs one at a time beating well after each one is added.

    Gradually add in the flour mixture then stir in the chocolate chips.

    Drop by rounded tablespoon on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 13 minutes, allowing them to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes then place them on paper towels to cool. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
