Perfect Peach Cobbler

I came up with this recipe after reading several others and not finding them satisfactory. The results are undeniably delicious. Serve warm with vanilla bean ice cream! =D

Ingredients

12 servings
  1. Peach mixture/filling
  2. 45 oz Canned peaches
  3. 2 tsp Pure vanilla extract
  4. 1 cup Sugar
  5. 2 tsp Cinnamon
  6. 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  7. 1/2 tsp Allspice
  8. 'crust'/cake base
  9. 2 cup Sugar
  10. 2 cup Flour
  11. 1/2 tsp Salt
  12. 2 cup Milk at room temp.
  13. 1 cup Melted butter
  14. 1 dash Cinnamon

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°

    Spray a 10x16 pan (or whatever pan/pans you prefer) with cooking spray.

    Mix dry ingredients for crust.

    Mix in milk and melted butter.

    Pour batter into prepared pan.

    Mix dry ingredients for peach mixture/filling.

  7. 7

    Drain juice away from canned peaches.

    Thoroughly mix spices and peaches

  9. 9

    Spoon peach mixture evenly over batter.

  10. 10

    Bake for 45 min-1 hour or until golden brown and fork comes out clean in the center of the cobbler.
