Chinese Surimi (Imitation Crab) Casserole

Every Chinese resturaunt has their take on imitation crab casserole. It's a tasty inexpensive dish. Real crab can be used but will differ from the traditional Chinese buffet offering.

Ingredients

  1. 8 ounces imitation crab
  2. 1/4 cup room temperature cream cheese
  3. 2 tablespoons sour cream
  4. 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  5. 1 teaspoon lemon huuce
  6. 1 teaspoon siracha seasoning salt
  7. 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  8. 1 tablespoon butter
  9. 1 celery stalk, chpped
  10. 2 green onions, sliced ‘
  11. `1/2cuos sheedded cheaper cheese

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 375,, butter a casserole dish

    In a bowl mix together, cream ease, sour crea, mayonnaise, sriracha, lemon, Worcestershire sauceand hit au

    In a come on small skillet sauté celery and green onions just a minute to enhance flavor but keep some crunch

    Mix celery mixture nd gently fold in crab

  5. 5

    Soon into prepared dish

  6. 6

    Top with cheese

  7. 7

    Bake until hot and cheese melts abit15 to 29 minutes

    Serve hot

“Fenway” passed away on 2/3/2021. For the last year she tried to teach her husband of 42 years how to cook like her. Although I will never be as good of a cook as her she did pass on her passion for cooking. Therefore, I will attempt to carry on her legacy and maintain/update her site. My wife was a Registered Nurse, a licensed deep water aerobics instructor, a mother to our 2 children and a fantastic cook. We grew up in New England but have been fortunate to live all over the US. I am now retired, missing her terribly, but thankful for all the years we had together and all her cooking lessons.
