Ingredients

  1. 3 cups flour
  2. 2 tsp baking powder
  3. 2 Tbsp shortening
  4. 2 eggs
  5. Milk to make dough
  6. 1 tsp salt
  7. Soup:
  8. 8 cups chicken broth
  9. 2 cups milk
  10. 1 stick butter

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all ingredients together except milk

    Add enough milk to make a dough you can handle.

    Take about 1/3 of the dough and roll out on flour

  4. 4

    Cut into squares or noodles

  5. 5

    In the meantime, boil about 8 cups of chicken broth and about 2 cups of milk. Add a stick of butter

    When boiling, add the dumplings while stirring so they don't stick.

    Cook about 30 min.

Do you use all of the dough? Just a 1/3 at a time?
