During the cold months stewed oxtails, fleece blanket and a movie is simply divine and relaxing.

  1. 3 pounds butcher cut oxtails
  2. 3 cans stewed tomato
  3. 8 thick cut gold potatoes
  4. 2 thick cut onion
  5. 1 bag baby carrots
  6. 3 bay leaves
  7. 4 cups beef stock
  8. 3 tablespoons pepper
  9. 2 tablespoons thyme
  10. 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  11. 1/2 cup worchestshire sauce
  12. 4 teaspoons curry powder

    Season meat and brown oxtail in skillet

    Add all other ingredients to crockpot and stir.

    In 4 hours taste for flavor add seasons as needed. I usually add curry and garlic salt. If you like a spicy soup add a teaspoon of red pepper flakes.

    At about 8 hours oxtails should fall of the bone and to thicken sauce add some flour to the sauce.

    ****Tiers Tip******
    Buy your oxtails from local meat market. Ask them to butcher them. When you get home rinse the meat and season with worchestshire and any of your favorite beef seasoning. Place in a plastic sealed bag and freeze until ready to cook.
